CHAPTER 11 OF 15

The future of company prediction markets, and what's next for FIRM

Why this category grows

Prediction markets are still new to most people, and the ones people have heard of are about the news: elections, weather, the Fed. Company and project outcomes are a much bigger, much more personal category. Almost everyone who follows crypto or startups already has an opinion about a specific company's next number. Turning that opinion into a tradable, resolvable market, tied to a company's own verified data, is a category that barely exists yet outside of FIRM.

As more revenue providers, on-chain data sources, and public company data become easy to connect to a market, the range of things a FIRM market can ask gets wider: not just revenue, but users, retention, shipped features, funding, exchange listings, protocol fees, anything with a number and a checkable source. The more of these that exist, side by side, the more FIRM starts to look like a live, tradable index of who is actually winning, judged by evidence instead of headlines.

What FIRM is building next

FIRM's roadmap is markets-first: make the core market product real, verified, and widely usable before anything else.

  1. Real USDC settlement. Turn on native USDC settlement on Solana for real-money markets, once the provider, security, and operational requirements described throughout this document are met. This is the most immediate priority.
  2. More verified data sources. Add more supported revenue, growth, and on-chain data providers, so more companies and projects can be evidenced directly instead of relying only on public sources.
  3. Company claims and founder tools. Deeper tools for founders to claim their company, connect their data, manage their markets, and use their resolution history as a public track record.
  4. Creator and community-made markets. Open up market creation further, so creators and communities can propose and run markets on the companies and projects they follow, not just the FIRM team.
  5. Growth programs. Expand Position Waterfalls, referral programs, and other funded distribution tools so companies have real, disclosed ways to turn their goals into audience growth.
  6. The $FIRM token. Once the network has real usage, real fee demand, and a real resolution history behind it, launch $FIRM as described in the previous chapter.

No dates are attached to any of these. Each step depends on the one before it being genuinely done, not scheduled.
