CHAPTER 8 OF 15
For founders and projects
A market on your company is a public signal, whether you participate or not. FIRM's public-source path means anyone can propose a market on your company using a public, checkable source, without you doing anything. The better move is to claim it.
Claim your company
Founders and project teams can claim their company's profile on FIRM. A claimed, verified company gets a few things an unclaimed public listing does not: the ability to connect a direct data source instead of relying on public sources alone, the ability to create official markets on its own numbers, and a company profile that carries a public record of past resolved markets and progress. Company listings are free. Claiming your profile does not require funding a pool or holding $FIRM.
Connect your data
Once claimed, a company can connect a supported revenue or growth provider so its markets resolve from a direct, authorized read of its own numbers instead of a public source someone else proposed. FIRM stores only the normalized totals a market needs, never raw customer records, and the company controls what gets connected.
Markets as a public signal
A resolved market on your company is a public, dated, evidence-backed record: you said you'd hit a number, and either you did or you didn't, with the receipts attached. Over time, a track record of resolved markets becomes something a founder can point to that a pitch deck cannot: outcomes the market itself watched happen in real time, priced continuously by people with something on the line.
Turning a goal into distribution
A company can fund a Position Waterfall or a referral program tied to its own market, turning "help us hit this number" into a real, disclosed incentive instead of a vague ask. A customer who refers a friend, or a community member who shares the market, can earn a funded position instead of a coupon. The company keeps its own checkout and its own customer relationships throughout: FIRM never sits between a company and its customers' money.
